Are they that much better than stock?</TD></TR></TABLE>Performance wise I did not notice ANY difference. I have to drill out a frozen bolt on my stock ones, so it gave me an excuse to buy these. They do weigh a little less, but not much. They look 100% better then stock (which is at least worth a 5 hp gain).
They are a little bit shorter than stock (which means you must have a camber kit). The reason is so that if you are running wider tires, you can keep the car lowered without the tires rubbing the fender.

Get this.
I had stripped the car down to stock. Bought some used stock shocks, switched back to the drums. About 6 hours of work into the car.
The I was finishing up on the last rear drum when the guy said his kid liked the koni's and rear disk. So before I got it aligned I re-installed EVERYTHING back on the car (rear disk, koni's,and camber kit). Another 6 hours of work.
Got it aligned (Honda charged my 140$ because of the excess labor involved with the camber kit)
They take it for a test drive. And then offer me 4500$.
I said 4500$ would be great for a STOCK car. But I have another 1000$ worth of suspension that they asked me to put on there. The dad said to the kid "well thats more than what we talked about"!!
So I got screwed and they didn't even kiss me.
I have another father/son team look at it last night, but I think their going to blow me off too.
So now I probably have to return it back to stock (another 6 hours) to get a broader market of buyers.
So to answer your questions: $hitty.....really $hitty.

I'm not 100% sure off the top of my head.
I would like to say about a 1/2 inch, but again I'm not 100%. Let me find a tape measure and I can measure from them.
I would recommend a camber kit.

Think it would work on my 99 civic ex, with 99 teg rear disc swap?

Sounds similar to your application. And I'll give you 10 dollars over whatever scrapinSI offers you! heheh j/k

</TD></TR></TABLE>Yup, the 96's and 99's had the same LCA.
I had a GSR swap on mine and it worked fine.
