can grinding when you shif cause by clutch worn out????

 

yes.... damn flood protection doesnt let me post as often as i do. 30 second rule my foot.

 

Any slippage when shifting? Check your fluids.

Maybe its time for an ACT clutch install?

 

I have an act clutch and it grinds into 5th gear. Ive been wondering why it was doing it. Ive heard of 5th gear grinding on prelude before, but I can remember why they do it.

or maybe you arent pressing on the clutch all the way.

 

my bro's 5th gen just started grinding fifth . it only has 11,xxx miles on it. he took it to the dealer the other day and they said they were going to order some parts which they did not specify exactly what they were. i'm assuming they are going to fix it.
