no no.... sunroofs dufus. let me clearify this for you. a moon roof is clear so that you can look up and see the stars and moon and ****.... glass top.
a sun roof with a hard top version... metal. it blocks the sun.

ahh.. i had it the other way around, my bad bitch
i thought a moonroof had no glass (hard top metal) so you can see the moon, and a sunroof had tinted glass so you wouldnt get dark/sunburned
anyways, can someone answer the initial question without going OT while pardoning my mistake

How can you tell which car it is when you don't even see the entire roof??
But anyway, no one makes these they're mostly completely custom due to the seals that need to be made to ensure 100% fitment and no leakage. You can loose around 80 lbs removing the motor and the glass. Though CF isn't legal at most venues. DR has a very nice one done for his 5th gen.

ooh! very nice! and I've heard quite a few 4th gen'rs complain about rusting sunroofs...."if it breaks, upgrade"! The only other option, other than the old metal piece, is the glass one from roof-doctor.com, i think that's it, and it's ~$350

I'm almost positive that that pic is not 5th gen... the space btw the roof piece and the gutter looks too wide to be 5th (I just washed, polished, and waxed mine...)
BTW: I think a roof of sun dried **** would look better than that(my opinion)... spend money on something that makes it go faster not somethin to make it look shittier... my .02 and 1/2

That car is a 92-95 civic hatchback. The member's name is Doctor Cortez I believe. He made that piece for weight savings (he says 40lbs) and a lower center of gravity. Here is the thread --> https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=446585

Haha, and how is it any different than say an Integ or Civic roof? Please explain to me how you can tell just because it has similar roof moldings? Almost ALL Honda roofs look exactly the same when you don't have the proportions!
BTW: Checked with the guy, it IS a Civic.

Bright response... In any case the point is when you don't have a reference point (sizing) roof lines are basicly the same on ALL cars. In the image, you have no idea how big the roof is, how big the insert is, or even the angle. All you see is the plug, and the drain lines, oh and the roof is curved a little bit. Now, how many cars have this feature? For all you know it could be a CRX HB since you can't even see how long the roof is! If you want to debate this do it, but it's stupid to debate something since the picture IS off a civic...
