*Help ASAP - 88 HF / SIR1 B16 Swap
The car is in pieces right now and there are some problems.
First is the engine mounts.
Second is the wiring. i'm using a ghetto fixed harness that i was using for my 89 integra, but there is still the round plug that doesn't fit and the stock hf harness doesn't seem to work for theb16 at all. so should i get another harness if so which one? since i have to do all this i might as well convert it from pre-obd. what other economical ways are there to make my sir1 work in my 88 hf and possibly pass smog. HELP ME PLEASE, I NEED TO GET ON THE RACE TRACK
engine: jdm b16a 91?sir1
car: 88 crx hf

To make your harness work this is what you need to do:
Modify the HF harness with the B16 plugs. Most likely you will have to switch the distributer plug wires over to the HF harness.
The B16 needs the HF harness. This means modify the HF harness and slap it on the B16. This will allow it to plug into your engine bay harness plugs.
As for motor mounts you will need to get some from HAsport or HCP or some other company for the car to bolt in.

since you are running a hf, get the steering knuckles off a 88-91 civic/crx dx/si/std or a (90-91 civic ex, teg exc... for larger brakes). Ryan
