i got an offer for an 89 red crx si. according to the owner it has no motor/tranny, or rear interior but has full suspension. i plan on swapping a 1st gen b16.

should i be on the lookout for specific stock parts that would help this swap go easier had the motor/tranny came with car as well? like wire harness? anything else?

 

Definitely make sure you get the engine compartment wiring harness, you are going to need that for the swap. Try to get the radiator, radiator fans, and battery tray if they are missing. If you want a/c, get the compressor, condensor, and lines because that stuff is expensive to buy later.
