Made a Gauge panel for 88 CRX tonight
Here are a few pictures of the gauge panel I made tonight using the smaller 90-91 cluster cover. It has (2) 2 1/16" gauges and a 3 3/8" tach. Panel is made of 1/8" thick black ABS. I secured it with Weldit, some black adhesive caulking and a few L brackets for support.

Took only a couple hours total to make. Once I had the template figured out, it was cake from there. I'll get some pictures of it installed when i get around to putting it in.
The car is a track only car, so gas gauge isnt really needed.

The gauges werent cheap. I think all three were about $180 from Summit. The install was really easy. Like I said, once I got the template done, it was very easy from there. I used a dremel to cut everything. Total cost of the panel excluding the gauges was $2 for the ABS plastic and $4 for the Weldit adhesive I used.
I dont need a speedo. Im only using what I need.

Those gauges are cheap dude! Comparing to Stack gauges or SPA Design....thas like freagin Walmart prices!!! But of course...Autometers gauges are as reliable. They just dont have the bling factor that the SPA's and Stacks have..heeehee....Autometer is always

I think you are right. You are the second person to have told me that today. I'll edit my post

Well, your comparing apples and oranges. Stack or the SPA's aren't even considered when buying "gauges". Either way, $180 isnt cheap for anything.

i'd say it would be a fairly good bargain for a heart-transplant
