Right off the flat bed into the 8's. Hopefully the 1st time (again) jitters don't get to him. I'm anxious to see him run against the GM.

We came to Florida with about 80 more whp than TX so not real happy with the results however a few cars seem to be .3 sec off the pace. Still waiting for the data log to show up in my e-mail. Very hot, humid and now rain

Except 4 of the fastest All motor sportcompact cars out there... seems like both races have a solid All motor Field...

That really bites! What failed? Can you get it fixed before you have to hit the track again?

 

Hey Earl, sorry to hear about the dropped valve... . i saw the car being pushed back, but didn't know what was wrong with it until you posted I tried to find Mike or Art after the run to find out what it was, but couldn't...

Anyway, here is a video for you of the qualifying pass that i took earlier today... it'll take a bit of time to get on the server, because i'm uploading it on dial-up, and it is 4mb... ah well... enjoy, and if there is anything i can do for Mike down here, let me know

Leslie Durst is loaning us a cylinder head so we will make the call tomorrow. Bent both intakes in #2. This is twice on a burnout we've dropped valves. I think we are over revving. Rev limiter is 11,000 rpm

 

glad to see larry got it all coming together in all motor field

 

atleast it didnt drop a valve in 4th gear...

Could it be that your rods are 'stretching' too much @ 11,000rpm? Therefore hitting the pistons?
