Rims and Spring question for my '02 accord coupe
I debating on whether to get 18" rims for my gen6 accord coupe and maybe dropping it an inch or so. Or I was going to do 19"s without springs. What would be better? I would like to be considerate of the ride but I want my car to be a little lower too!
I had Sprint Springs n stock shocks on my departed 2K Accord V6.
They rode great for the longest time until I decided to sell it.
If u want an honest opinion go w/ 18's w/ Nitto NT555 rubber, with a 2.25 drop
Don't forget to get an alignment n camber @ same time to reduce tire wear
I made that mistake before. Good Luck. What kind of rims?

Thanks for your input. I am thinking about getting some Exel TZ-10 or Exel BK-7. I am not too sure, though. Still shopping around. What did you trade your 2K accord in for?
No offense but the Accord was way too slow n I felt like I wasted so much money.
$23,000 brand new & $7,000 in aftermarket parts such as: Racing Hart C5's in 18's, Wings West ground effects, Dual Greddy Evo's, AEM short ram, Auotmeter Gauges Air Fuel Ratio, Water Temp., n Oil Pressure. Kenwood Sound system, etc.
Now I drive a Turbo Integra, well worth the trade!

spent too much money and still was too slow?!?!? Didnt the autometer gauges, wings west ground effects, Racing Hart rims and Kenwood sound system make you go fast enough? Wonder why a turbo integra would go faster than an Accord with all that stuff.

nothing wrong with the car, it prolly is the owner.
bodykit, amp, gauges, and big rims doesnt add power..
you can pour your whole saving in a car and it will go slow at ****..it's all about
smart spending in the right place..cough..UNDER THE HOOD..cough
not dissing you for making your car look nice but speed never go out of style

i have to agree with you. the accord has alot of potential. as long as u know what u are looking for. you can add more stuff to the accord engine now than you could before.
