got prelude helms?

It's so much of a requirement that I think to be allowed here, there should be a "secret question from pg. x" that only owners of the manual will know. It's that important to have...
heres a question for ya:
I am very mechanically inclined but have never rebuilt an engine before. I have fully disassembled my H23 with no problems. It seemed very straight forward to me, and I am confident I can put it back together. Honestly, its the little stuff that scares me like setting the timing and installing the timing belt properly
anyway, is the helms detailed enough that I can follow it exactly to assemble my new engine, and it be reliable?
like, there aren't any secrets left out (ring position, proper balancing techniques, stuff like that)?
I'm excited to have the service manual, and can't wait for it to get here

Uggg, yes, it's all in there and if you follow it exactly you're all set. Having said that, if this is "your first time," I really strongly suggest having someone around who's done it before. Or you hand all the parts to someone who does this stuff all day. You're not losing face by handing it to a pro. Even guys here who really know their engine will give it to a pro.
But, if you really want to, and really follow directions, you'll be okay, but putting together a H23 isn't like taking it apart. You have to measure, check, and double check everything!
