. Really I haven't did that much research in the mini-me's but i raced one with the full bull-frog package. The little thing was quick. it suprised me. Didn't win the race, but surprised me.

I agree with using the Y7 because of it already being there & together.
but you are gonna see gains if you mini me it.
I'm running Z6 longlblock with a Y8 intake manifold & Y8 trans. I ported the exhaust out as well. let me tell you this combo RIPS. I'm very impressed with it so far.
If you do go out & decide to get a vtec head get a Z6, especialy in an FI app.
