Default Engine build program. Calculate your E.T.

Check this site out and download the program. It's awesome I was just using it, and it will calculate all sorts of things.

yeah i do it's called the dyno and the track. those programs cant calculate for ****. the only real way to do it is to do it for real. all that program can do is give you some bigtime ballpark #'s. as we all know every motor is different, especially a turbocharged honda. it all relies in the tuning.

haha I tried the HP 1/4 estimator:

in order for my 2600 pound car to do low 14's I need 460HP and 370 Tq lol...

I use the Mr Gasket Desktop Drag Strip 2000 and it is quite accurate as long as your values you input are realistic. You've gotta tweak with things like traction rating of tires and rollout a bit to get it just right but i'm usualy within 2/10ths of what it estimates.

See club Si gave me a good answer all you decided to slam me. I read in honda performace handbook by joe pettit that all the turbo netics guys and all the big drag racers are using performace programs to try and calculate what they could expect out of their cars. I just happened to see that on and though I would tell you all about it. So you didn't have to flame me, instead just point me in the right direction.
