2.25 inch drop, rethinking spring choice.
I bought a pair of skunk2 lowering springs (not the coil-overs) to go with a pair of koni yellows. They lower 2.25 in the front and 2.50 inchs in the rear. I was looking at my car yesterday and I started to Qeustion weather it can even be lowered that much. Right now my 94 accord ex is sitting on Weapon R coil-overs (yeah...they suck pretty hard) but they are raised all the way up, not sure if it is stock height but it is sure close. Does someone have there car droped that much or know some one who does? Thanks a lot for the help, I know this is my third Qeustion about lowering, I am sorry, I don't want to bug you guys, Just have a lot of qeustions and it seems you guys always have lots of answers.
i lower my car as low aas my koni shock allow.........and i have skunkwork coilover...........
get a sport spring with koni strut,,,,,you 'll be happy......... or coilover....and koni

My car is slammed pretty low, I am use Neuspeed Koni Yellows, and Neuspeed Sports. It won't hurt anything for your car to be this low, although you should get an alignment done, to determine whether you should get a camber kit or not. It's not necessary, but uneven tire wear sucks *****.
Also, being dropped really low is kind of annoying when you bump your header, etc.. so drive carefully, remember when you modify your car, you are losing the ease of driving one that is stock, you can no longer go 25mph over speed bumps, and get up those hella steep drive ways, and drive on those well-known roads with foot deep pot-holes! You have to drive your car on roads you are familiar with, and if you aren't familiar with the road, go SLOW so you can see if there's any huge bumps or anything. I made that mistake last week, driving on a back road, hit a huge f'n dip in the road and cracked the bottom portion of my header all to hell. Sucks *****, now my car sounds like ***, and runs like ***. -- Exhaust leaks suck! --
Hope this was the info you were looking for!

though i have the complete apex-i coilover kit and practically unlimited adjustability, excessive lowering sucks. My car is pretty high - it looks like I just have a set of eibach sportlines in. I'm too old to be gettin' pulled over anymore by the Po-Po.
If I were to track it, it's just a matter of raising it up, adjusting and dropping back down. Viola! 4inches lower and back to "cop-magnet".

You should be fine. Just watch out for potholes and the way you drive. I had neuspeed sports and tockico blues and i was fine. THE drop was about 2 in. IT coulda been lowered more. BUt not on the blues
Thanks for the help,
Does any have the skunk2 springs?
Or any spring with 2.25/2.5 inch drop?
Just made an apointment to get it installed, I hope it is not going to be a disaster.
