Street-able but mainly Drag car. 1.8L or possibly crvtec B series Hybrid.

although a member of our race tema has the 1st gen 85 crx si chassis with ls/vtec ... I wouldn;t recommend it to anyone, i.e. we have to pull the tranny out that means we have to pull the entire motor out ... custom hasport mounts, shiftlinkage and axle shafts vs. 88 HF just mount kit and cut your own 90-93 integ shfit linkage and you're set ... the 88 HF will be just as light as well

87 SI's are sleepers. I had one with a 2.1L LS/Vtec. Can u say sleeper?

I think it is worth it, you won't get the latter model as light as a 84-87!!
