Default '01 GSR color - NBP or FBP?

Just curious cuz whenever I go to the dealer they tag my car as NBP(Nighthawk Black Pearl) instead of FBP(Flamenco Black Pearl)...kinda weird.

I think the 2 colors may be the same or very similar so the dealer just uses NBP to make their life easier...I know my car is FBP, what do the rest of you 01 guys think?

And I thought Frost White and Taffeta White were hard to distinguish - I would hate to try distinguishing NBP from FBP, or vice versa. Is there even a difference?!?

are you sure about that?

I know for a fact 00 Type R's are NBP so why would Honda use two different blacks on the same year Integra?

No, 2000 type-r is flamenco black pearl...and 2001 type-r is nighthawk black pearl.
The difference is flamenco has regular pearls and Nighthawk black has blue pearls.

Oh btw- Walkman X, your 2001 DC2 is not flamenco, it's nighthawk...I'm positive. Or either you have a 2000 model.

Just check the color code on the drivers side door jamb. That will tell you for sure.

2000 IS FBP

2001 IS Nighthawk Black Pearl, this im positive of. In 2000 however some Black integra's are in fact NBP. Honda apparently "ran out" of the FBP pearls but never changed the paint code. There was a thread about this a while ago.

I'll be right back. Let me take some close up pictures of my car, 2001 GS-R.

EDIT: Here are the photos.

I know they are not the best pictures, but my car was in the garage. So give me a break.

Default Flamenco

Now it's time to see the Flamenco Black Pearl. Does it actually have red flake in it?

Flamenco took the place of granada black in 98. in 2000 nighthawk black became available for the type r while the ls and gsr stayed in flamenco. In 2001, everything was nhb
