This may be a stupid question but could u make a home brew turbo kit from a turbo, and intercooler from a volvo 740?? its a garret turbo but have no clue what size ??? my buddy wants to know cause he can get the whole setup for 200$

yes you can. Just have to search out the right manifold or have one made. Pretty much, any turbo can be fitted to any car. As long as you don't put a super huge turbo on a small motor car that just won't work right.
