Hi all...I had an 6th gen accord running drag turbo kit in an auto...
I was just thinking of getting a goody upgrade transmission...but dont know which is best..
What should I go...I mean which is better...a shift kit on my auto tranny you know dont have to swap tranny....Or swap it to a manual??well that be a very pain..I have to rebuild everything you know what i mean...

So what yal expert out there think???

do not get prelude tranny, according a friend, accord manual tranny have longer gears=more boost

 

yea use the accord tranny for boost.

 

you can do the tranny swap, i had it done on my 97 accord, but be sure to have lots of extra cash lying around for random parts and such, it cost me prob around $2200 or so to do the conversion for parts and labor.

i bought all the parts myself and then had someone do the conversion cause i didn't trust myself with it

According to DLB1994, use the prelude trans. He says he felt an amazing difference (better) opposed to the F tranny.

and looking at his setup and hp #'s, i'll trust his opinion.
