CMI this Saturday May 17th at Sacramento Raceway
Just wondering if anyone is going? I might be there to watch.
"Streetracing at the Strip" their calling it.
More info:
Gates Open - 4:00 p.m.
Pit admission - $5 - Race Entry - $25
$500 guaranteed to winners of the Jackpot lanes. CMIRACER jackets awarded to winners.
Jackpot open to non-electronic vehicles only. Slicks permitted. Vehicles racing must pass NHRA inspection. For more information on NHRA technical questions, go to NHRA.com.
This event was originally created to have law enforcement officers racing in marked cars against street-legal vehicles. Due to scheduling and insurance conflicts, this event will be promoted without any police officers attending the race.

Actually, they changed it. No cops there.
The website doesn't clearly state if you have to run mufflers. Just give them a call to find out.
