What size tires do you guys recomment for stock 99 ls mesh rims? My friend recomended 215/45/15 does that sound right and does any one have any pitures? BTW i have a 1.5 inch drop.

 

195/55/15 or 205/50/15

215's are definitely too wide for the stock rim. Alot even say a 205 is too wide too. But either a 205/50/15 or 195/55/15. Anything else will either not fit or throw off your total diameter by too much.

WTF do you need pics of tire sizes?

Take a ruler, measusre out 205mm. That is approximately how wide a 205/50/15 tires is.

 

sry on me i want to see what the tire gap would be with the tires you guys suggest. Im sorry I should have been more detailed.

 

Tire gap? As in the gap between the tire and the fender?

If so, all of these tires are going to have the exact same tire gap. You don't want to change the overall diameter of your tire & wheel combo.

they dont make 45s for 15s, id say go w/205/50/15.

Stock size. The wheels are not wide enough to optimize the use of wider tires.

 

I put 205/50/15 on the stock mesh wheels and no problems........... I have a 99 GS sedan. I will try to take some pics for you tonight and post them. You can go up to 205 on the stock wheels, anything wider will not work.
