powerade @ E town... anyone else going?
just wondering who else in the NJ area on this board are going to be at Etown this weekend??
I went today to check out some of the qualifying, and check out the midway. I found quite a bit of sport compact products there (midway) if not the actual products at least the brochures
also bumped into Ara from bullish/street glow, he was trying to set up a race with Warren Johnson (pro stock) for an exhibition, he is a pretty cool guy, actually talked with me for like 15 minutes before heading to the airport to get to Florida
tomorrow night is the night to go... Nitro under the lights, if the weather holds up... hope to see some HT people there

A friend of mine is going (AlphaMike). I think he's been going to the NHRA Nationals since he was a kid. His dad is an old school drag racer.
As Paul said, I'm gonna be there Sunday. Just a bit of insight for everyone, Friday nite qualifying is the absolute best. All the teams go ***** out. It's drag racing at its best. I would love to see a match race between WJ, Kurt, or anyone of the Pro Stock guys against one of the Bullish cars. That would be awesome!!! For anyone who hasn't seen a top fuel dragster, funny car, or even an alocohol car run, and you love drag racing, you have to go to one of these events. It's absolutley amazing to see these cars run. I've watched these cars for years and it never gets old...
i worked all day saturday. all ive got to say is you even if you guys hate domestics its something you should check out cause that is the real deal. its a real trip when a top fuel dragster flies past you and you can feel it go through your body. and then the sweet smell of nitromethane. mmmmmm.
