Is Second Skin Damplifier Extreme good stuff???
I plan on sound deadening my doors very very soon with the help of fellow RSX'er. Now, i am looking for material that is not expensive, but still retains good quality becuase i do not want to buy crap. I have felt Cascade Audio VB-2HD, and the stuff is heavy duty and will definately do the job of deadening the doors that i plan on putting my HEX components in. How does Second Skin dampX measure up against brownbread, b-quiet and raammat? Is there a huge difference?
If i use the Second Skin dampX, will i see big difference than if i used the Cascade VB-2HD?? The selling price for 13.9 sq. ft. of the VB-2HD is like $75 or so which is a rip off. They are selling the Second Skin Damplifier Extreme for $21 for 10 sq. ft., $85 for 50 sq. ft. Those are really good prices if you ask me for the amount you get. Now, i think i would just 2 packs of the 10 sq. ft. pack for just my doors and prolly my rear deck, since i dont plan on getting subs soon. Do you think this will do the job?
Please all and any opinion from the audio gods and other are welcome, i want all the criticism i can get on this product. I want to do it right the first time!!!
Thanks guys!

Come on guys, you mean to tell me that no H-T members have ever had any exeprience with this stuff??? Please help!!!
i just bought some of the "knock-off" dynamat extreme from ebay and it was exactly what i thought it was....peel and seal roofing material. it works pretty good, but it really needs to be doubled up to provide the effect that 1 layer of dynamat provides. i paid $90 for a 100sq foot roll plus shipping. you can get the same stuff in a hardware store for about the same price.
