B18c block with JDM b16a pistons(p30) and a b16 head....just curious if any one has used this combo before. Seems like it would give you a nice compression... around 11.3
Does this make sense, seems like it would be a good combo for all motor daily driven.
I'm getting a new block to replace my b16.
i'm gonna do a B18c block with a b16 head(portflow done) has Toda b vavetrain/cams and all the goodies.
i'm gonna balance the block with an exedy flywheel. JDM ITR pistons would give me an 11.1, and CTR would give me 12.1.....why not 11.3 with p30's. right in the middle. Should work right? any cons or pros to this setup.?

according to c-speedracing.com
You'd be at 11.75 with a stock headgasket with CTR pistons. And 12.08 with a stock 2 layer headgasket.

And 11.33 with OEM 3 layer, and 11.64 with OEM 2 layer with P30 pistons.
What pros/cons are you looking for out of a set-up like this?
