a member sent me a couple pix of his ride dropped on comptech 1.25" springs and his stock struts. I noticed the front wheel gap is larger than the rear. It sorta looks odd.. if it was the other way around it would look more "appropriate" I was just wondering if thats normal?
I have a set of comptech springs with agx' on the way, but if my ride is gonna turn out this way.. I want another set of springs that lower the similiar amount and gives equal wheel gap.

it depends... if you look at all the guys with Eibach Sportlines or Pro-Kit, they'll tell you the same thing... has something to do with the front wheelwell being bigger than the rear.
Comptech and Eibach springs have a tendency to make a car look like that. Remember that the front wheel opening is larger than the rear.
Measure the from the ground to the jack points. That will tell you if the car is even.

I've seen that a lot with Comptech and Eibach Prokit springs. If you don't want the front higher, you might want H&R's instead. My actual drop (after settling) is about 2" front and 1.75" rear. I have my shocks on the stock height setting. The "raked" look looks good IMO. Might be a liitle too low for you, though.
i got suspension techniques and they make the front lower than the rear. probably about 1.5-1.75 in the front and back is 1.25-1.5. never measured it. i think integras look better with the front sitting lower than the rear. complements the cars lines.

If what others are saying holds to be true (that the front wheel well being larger than the rear) if you lower your front more than the rear would that cause any problems with alignment or anything? as of today my kyb agx' are in

I actually lowered my car more in the back using the Koni spring perch because I had noticeably more gap in BACK w/ the H&R Sports. It's pretty even now, as you can see:

wondering the same thing (i have yellows/prokit). i called koni and they said the top perch (of 2) is stock for the front, and the middle perch (of 3) is stock for the rear. theoretically that's how i should have them, but right now i have all 4 on the highest and the front is STILL higher. it'll look retarded if i lower the rear to the middle and leave the front on top. will it **** anything up if i lower the front to the lowest and put the rear on the middle perch? i'm going to straighten it out this weekend, so what do you all think i should do?

Hey Pat I was trying to look for an archived thread that you posted. It was about your insane drop with the H&R sports.. 2.5" drop or something if i remember correctly... anyways if I decide to go with H&R Sports im scared that they may sag. My friend also told me not to use Neuspeed because they are about quantity, not quality anymore ... although he would have suggested them a few years back.
I just want something that will give me an even drop in terms of wheel gap. If coilovers are the only solution then im sol because I aint dishin out 700-1000$ IM sooooo contemplating if I should just install my comptech and Kybs today. The whole issue with the wheel gap thing is just eating away at me. Considering ive never done suspension id like to do my first install perfectly and be happy with it for a while. decisions.... decisions..

Here is my GS-R on Comptech's and KYB's. I just did it yesterday. The rear is slightly lower than the front, but not a big difference. I would say it is 3 fingers in back and 3 1/2 in the front. The ride quality is still awesome at 2 all around. I recommend the set-up.

make sure they are installed correctly. make sure the shocks aren't blown.
Park on a leveled surface. If it's still like that something is messed up.
My H&R Sports dont have a lower drop in the rear. Infact the front of my car is slammed a good bit.

Compared to what it looked like before (4x4 look) it definately looks lowered to me...it will probably lower another .25" once the springs settle.
sweet tegs hehe
i always thought that if anything the rear is a tad higher then the front.
so that when you do a hard accel from start... the car jerks back so u wun rub etc.

again, will it hurt anything to put the front on the lowest perch and have the rear on the middle (stock) perch on my yellows/prokit? i don't think it'll look even unless i do that.
