Default Distributor: Ignition coil question

I would like to know if i could use an ignition coil from a d15 distributor in a b16 distributor? I've read that all honda coils are the same, but I would just like to be sure before I try.

~thanks.

If your D15 is obd1 and up, then yes you can use it. I have rebuilt multiple distributers and most parts obd1 and obd2 are interchangeable, except sometimes when switching out internals you might have to repin the plugs. IE: Obd2 dizzy= 1 big *** plug and obd1 dizzy= 2 plugs. But all the wires are the same, so just repin in the harness.
