thanks
Do you mean an aftermarket one?
Cause I don't know if they are different or not, but I have a stock 99 Hatch complete header back exhaust on my 92 hatch.
The difference is that the 92-95 had the cat after the header as a separate piece whereas the 99-00 or maybe all of 96-00 had the cat in the header for the hatchbacks. So the difference will be that the EK hatch midpipe will be longer than the 92-95 hatch midpipe, but the axleback portion is exactly the same.
What I have right now is 99 DX hatch stock header, 99 DX hatch stock midpipe and stock axleback. The bends under the car are the same, but I had to shorten the midpipe about 1-2 inches to stop it from rattling.
In order to use it you will either have to run no cat and shorten the midpipe by 1-2 inches, or you could cut the midpipe to the correct length to include a cat, but that would mean cutting off quite a bit of the pipe and either welding it on or putting a new flange on.
My friend with the 99 hatch put my old catback on his and it fit no problem cause he used my testpipe. He posted a topic about the swap a month ago, i think, but I don't remember where he posted it or what the title was. I actually never even looked at it, but what I said is correct cause we did this ourselves.
Hope that helps
