On the 3G Integra, I actually figured out it was coming from a screw that appears to be holding part of the dash in. I tried to tighten the screw but it didn't solve the problem. Any ideas? I was thinking a new Washer/new screw/ but wasn't sure???

this recently started in my car. drove me nuts. i took out the cluster and i found that there was a small peice of metal sitting on the inside of the dash. hard to explain, and its hard to see. i had to but some tape on the end of a stick to get it out. i dont know what it was from, but the rattle is gone. hope this helps

 

When you say cluster, did you remove the whole dash panel or just that side?

Funny how little things like this can drive you crazy!
