Default help me with my prelude

my prelude's exterior is in horrible shape.4th gen. i need to buy new fenders, hood, and front. i was wanting to go with
the mugen front end (if i can find one)
a CF lip from satan_srv (think it'll fit with the mugen front end?)
CF hood, and
jdm fenders with the signals (if i could find them too)

basically my car is getting a major face lift. anyone have suggestions or see problems with my pics. i think that set up would look hella dope! with a yellow paint job

bboyprelude, that's a funny screen name. I'd say save the money and use the saved money on engine stuff. Why do you want japanese junk yard stuff?

check around ebay for mugen kits..but chances are it'll be a while before you come across one anywhere, anytime soon. as for the lip on the kit, my guess that if you're lowered much at all, adding the two together wouldnt prove to be too healthy for the lip (scraping and what not)..besides that fact, i highly doubt the mugen bumper has any mounting points for lips- SatanSrv's lip is designed to fit factory holes on the oem bumper.

yeah natakublitz you prolly right about the mugen bumper not having mounting hole.

but regardless to what everyone is saying about my taste. i need to replace my body panels. they are dinged rusting and flaking. just nasty looking. i want to get a new paint job after it's all said and done.

maybe i'll post pic and let you guys tell me if my car body is salvageable/sandable/?bondo-able?

yeah i can definitely understand where you're comin from with replacing/repairing parts..just suggesting not to go to more trouble than you need to to have a clean looking car.

thanks for the honest response. i think i might just go back to stock and add a carbon fiber lip, stock/expensive fenders, and hood. can't get any cleaner than that i really do like the turn signals on the jdm fenders though

Yay, Mugen parts!!!
*disclaimer*: it has been STRONGLY suggested by someone important that I now begin to dislike all JDM parts.

On a related note: Please IM Sam ASAP if you are interested in becoming a member of the " Official H-T JDM Hater Club", of which Sam will be Sergeant-At-Arms.

I figure if you can get the JDM fenders for cheaper than you can get the stock ones then go for it. Same goes for the front bumper. A set of corner markers won't make the fenders rice and if you can save a few bucks in the process then go for it.
I wouldn't paint my 4G yellow, but I'm not the one paying for the paint and shop work.
Basically, get the body panels for as cheap as you can, get a nice quality paint job regardless of color, and get back to working on the motor.
