i have a 97 integra gs with an auto tranny. my problem is that my first gear doesnt like to shift to second. it makes no difference even if i lightly gas it. after shifting to second its fine. i tried to reset my ecu but that didnt help any. will changing my tranny fluid help? final question does anybody know a shop or a mechanic in socal (714) area that are willing to perform auto to manual conversion. thanks tech members.

 

Yes, changing the tranny fluid and filter can make a world of difference. Give that a try first.
