Default Times for my 2000 Si...

Hey. Took my beast to the track today. I'm actually really pleased with my time. My best time of the day was 14.58@95.5mph with an amazingly shitty 2.305 60-foot. I backed this run up with a 14.60@94.9mph with a 2.33 60-foot. The setup is rather mild, i/im/h/e, vafc/fpr, kenji ecu, ctr cams, clutch/flywheel, all untuned. All stock bottom end, stock head gasket, stock valvetrain, etc.

So what do you think? Should I be happy? It seems pretty quick to me for such a heavy car.

Yea, that is a respectable time considering your combination. Improve your 60 ft time and tune your combination, you should be happy with those times. What tires are you running, and what is your suspension setup?

Suspension is Skunk2 Coils, stock shocks. Tires are Kumho Supra 712's mounted on Rota C8's. I had the tire pressure at about 22psi and yet I still couldn't cut better 60' times. Im convinced I need new tires.

Those are really good times - I'd be damn happy since all your parts are "untuned".

Can I ask what you're waiting for?

Waiting for as far as tuning? I'm waiting for a tuner... their all, for lack of a better word, dipshits around here.

I'm also on a budget, so the tires will get replaced when my kumho's are dead.

AC and cruise are gone, still have power steering... i took out the sound deadening under my carpet and left the carpet out too. I have the floormats in there, so it doesn't look bad at all. Not sure how much the car weighs... I know my custom exhaust added weight to the car since its just shitty generic crush bent exhaust pipe.

That is pretty good. I went 14.78 @ 93mph with I/TB/IM/H/C/E, Ultra R pulleys (so no a/c, p/s, c/c), back seat and stripped trunk on Azenis. That was also with stock clutch/flywheel and all stock motor and stock P2T ecu throwing 4 codes Can you say l-i-m-p mode. Nice set-up though. How much was your Kenji ECU? Did you use a wiring harness or does Kenji sell P28 w/ an OBD2b socket already on like Hondata does? Thoughts after installed? Thanks. I am trying to get a PCT ecu but hard to come buy.

Dont waste your time with the Civic-R ECU. My Kenji cost me a little over $400 for the chipped ecu and the 2b-1 harness. Easy Install, no problems at all. Only complaint is cold starts has a rough idle, but Im sure that can be tuned out.
