Does running A/C put extra strain on motor?
I can't really figure out where it would strain the motor any more than if it wasn't on, aside from maybe the alternator, but it just feels like I'm making the motor work overtime. Thanks for the help.

I wouldn't say that it is ALOT ket powerful but it will put some extra strain on the motor don't expect huge gains if you remove the ac unit

No, no. What I mean is, everytime I turn on the air conditioner, I feel like I'm pushing the "break down" button because it just seems like your car would be 10x as likely to break down with it on. Its more of just a mental thing I suppose... surely someone can sympathize with me on this...

No, I don't get that at all.
