Strut tower bars
I was thinking about getting some of the strut tower bars but I thought first I would check over here and see if there really worth the money and if they are what brand I should go with.
don't get any cheap crap from ebay.
I have a Neuspeed front upper strut bar and I didn't really notice too much difference, but then again, I wasn't then and am not now that good of a driver.
However, the Neuspeed bar is veeery stiff. The bar doesn't flex and it is on there tight as tight can be.

So the rear sway bar will get me the biggest difference....but that is also a lot more money. If I just went with strut bars now would it be a difference i would notice or jsut a waste of money
IMHO, I put on a Neuspeed front tower bar after I did a suspension install didn't really see any noticable changes, 6 months later I did a sway bar install and the difference was night an day. As for price the tower bar is around $100, the rear sway bar is around 150 for an ST bar. Neuspeed also makes a rear sway bar, and so does progressive.
And you really think that the Neuspeed tower bars/sway bars are a good product. If I go with a sway bar it means waiting a little longer to get it. And also, how hard is it to intall a sway bar compaired to a strut bar
At this point I suggest you do some of your own research, to really learn the dynamics involved in both tower bars and sway bars, in general sway bar reduce body roll, and tower bars add strength to the chassis or frame.
ST sway bar $150
Neuspeed $320
Progressive $ dont know.

I think I've seen the front/rear set of ST sway bars on ebay for BIN $220. Not sure about shipping.
Also, don't you want to wait on sways until your driving skills are pretty good? They induce oversteer right?

i dont believe that the do that much of a difference... i know for sure sway bars do... but for those who dont care and just want the looks? i would just go to ebay buy the cheap **** and stick on a sticker LOl (thats if your cheap and/or dont care)
Well as previously stated, the strut bar stiffens up your chassis. But the real world effect is that it improves steering response. If you're just doddling around town, then you probably wouldn't notice the improvements. But take a few turns fast and tight, and you'll definately feel the benefits.
If you're looking for real performance gains, then I would stick with Neuspeed or Spoon. The stronger and stiffer the bar is, the better. Stay away from DC, that piece is flimsier than dental floss.
I personally wouldn't recommend you getting a rear sway bar until you learn the limits of the car. From the factory, the car is already faster than you are. Its up to you to improve your driving skill to "catch up" to that level. There's no point in drastically changing your cars handling dynamics until you learn where YOUR limits are.
