I've got a '01 R with AEM CAI, and JDM 4-1 header with a 2.5" catsound cat. I've got about 400$ to blow, what should i go for?

don't see that happening, seeing as how i'm in virginia. any other suggestions?

 

get a set of toda cam gears so you can tune a little bit more...maybe an exhaust without any restrictions, but that will be a little more than 400

 

You could try underdrive pulleys, or ground-controls, fuel pressure regulator, cam gears and tuning, or you could buy some valve springs (than save up for some cams )

 

I would say either some cam gears or an exhaust. Apexi WS, according to Dan/God, is like 400 bucks.

 

get a custom 2.5 inch catback exhaust, should run you less than $400.

 

I have the same set up, how much more hp will the exhaust add. Is the stock that restrictive with the carsound cat

 

Do you plan on future mods? If so, go ahead and get a fuel controller - I prefer the V-AFC myself. Should be able to get one for $300 or less.

V-afc! Tune that flow man! Of course, it will be even better with cams I can't believe I'm about to do this, but here goes...
