my 90 crx won't start.. I have to hold in the key to keep startedif i let go of the key it will shut off alright.. and when im driving it i could be 100mph and it would shut off on me now i think its the ignition cylinder am i right?

 

My guess is it is probably either the cylinder itself or the wiring, we had an 89 hatch at the dealership I work at that would only stay on if the key was held on, we replaced the whole cylinder and it worked fine.

now all i would have to change is the cylinder and the wires connected to the cylinder and is their a difference between automatic and manual the kid that owned b4 me changed the auto out to a manual and he rigged the **** out of my car
