I put a 1994 JDM H22 in my civic I saw that the VTEC is supposed to engage at 5500 RPM but it kicks in at 5000 on mine. That is not too bad early is good but the rev limiter stops it at about 7500 RPM the same sheet that i saw the vetc thing they said that the rev limiter is not till 8500 or 8800 Rpm. What is going on? is my ecu right or wrong? is the sheet wrong i saw it at jdmhondaparts.com the ecu i looked at was somthing 13 is that right?

you're talking about a p13 ecu, it sounds like every thing is normal, you're source of information is wrong
