I believe USDM 3rd gen teg cams are the same for both auto and 5 speed. I do know they have different cams for B16 auto and 5-speeds in Japan.

I have the same problem.
Have an auto engine mated to a manual tranny. Ie the engine came out of an auto car.
From what I know the cams are different. I had this topic about 12months ago, no one could give me a straight answer (apart from the flamers who know everything)
The one guy I know who is reliable, Shamoo gave me an answer but can't remeber, Honda didn't know either in the Service center.

So not really sure, but if anyone gives an answer, please can they show how they came to that answer, don't just say no or yes.

Cars that run different cams for their auto version normally have different horsepower ratings for the auto/manual variants. Both are the same on a B18B teg.

does the engine rev down slower from higher rpms? in other words when your at a certain rpm and u push the clutch in does it seem like it lags when the rpms drop? cuz ive heard that it typically happens with engines that were originally for automatic and converted to a manual tranny. it could be from the cams, but i dont have any proof yet.
