Is the h22 and h23 the same gearbox?
I broke my gearbox today (H22) and i wonder if the H23 gearbox will fit on my H22A2???????????????????????

it will fit, yes, but the H23 is geared a little bit longer.

question mark button get stuck down?(??????????)

in case you have the option, try and stick with the h22 box, the h23 gearing will cause you to fall out of vtec every shift..i've heard that there are techniques that prove otherwise though..
answer is ultimately yes.

theyre all interchangeable...any h series or f series tranny will bolt up, but using the H23 or an F series(except the f20 SiR tranny, will result in slower accleration due to longer gearing an the h23 will keep u in vtec but...look at it this way, each time you shift with the h22 tranny.lets say you land around 5800 to 6k vs the h23 where you will land aroun 5-5200..so each time the h23 shifts it falls into a lower part of the powerband, thus accelerates slower, hope that helps you..peace
