Default Are there different types of Starion FMIC's? Is one better?

I just heard that there are 2 types of starion IC's. Is one better than the other or something? Is it true that there are?

I heard that the 88-89 ones are a lil more efficient then the 87. Correct me if Im wrong.

88 and 89 have 16 rows where the older ones have 14 rows. I think
