I am purchasing an h22a and i needed to get a JDM 4 wheel steering ecu for a manual tranny. Does anybody have any pictures of this ecu or know of any specific codes and/or markings that would distinguish it from all of the other ecu's. Is it correct that the 4WS ecu has a fourth plug?? Any help would be great. The place that i am getting the engine from would like to see a picture of the ecu so they can be sure that they are sending me the correct ECU. Thanks Again!!

 

The 4WS ecu has a large 4W on the sticker. They usually have a 4th plug but I think thats for the TCS.

 

i had the understanding that the h22a never came in a 4ws model, so the 4ws wiring would not work. i am in the middle of a jdm h22a swap myself in a 1994 SI 4WS, but i thought i would not be able to use the 4WS anymore.

 

JDM was available with 4WS on the VTEC models. Not positive but I think all the 4WS also had TCS.

My JDM P13 had 4WS onit, but no 4th plug..

 

Honda made 2 models of the p13 one has 3 plugs and the other has 4 plugs. Also the 4ws model did have a TCS. so everyone in here is right
