ok this is the thing wit my car 00 si wit 94 gsr swap...long block ..stock si ecu...ne ways i went out to the car checked the codes.....came up wit a bunch like 14 and 90 and some other bs...so i reset the ecu...battery terminal...started the car no CEL and let it run at idle for a bit then CEL came on..so i turned it off ..then jumpered the switch again and checked the codes now i just get code 1....from what i thought code 1 is ....Oxygen Sensor "A" (Primary) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor....so what u think is wrong and how to fix it?...and should i let it run longer or u guys think thats all the codes?...im guessing wit all the codes i had b4 that they r not gone...so im thinkin maybe keep drivin it then jumper and check the codes again

i know the o2 sensor is prolly blown...but i dun't wanna buy a new one....y would the 02 sensor just blow its brand new could it be cuz of the engine running lean...and how can i tell exactly if it is and how lean it is running?
i seriously doubt the sensor is defective....most of the time, like in MY case, it's just a couple fried wires.....just route the wires from sensor to the harness.....make sure they arent pinched or torn, and that should solve the problem.....if not, then just get a new one for $50 from auto-parts (the universal 4-wire) and wire that sucker up
