Weird Start
Yesterday I home for lunch, damn leftovers, started car to return to work. Car started fine. About a block away I realized I forgot something. I returned home, turned off car, got what I need and attempted to start car again. It started but immediately died. I tried to start again about 3 three times. It wouldn't. I sat and thought of what it could be. After two minutes I tried again and it started fine. Battery is only a couple months old as well as the bettery cables.
I have a 93 and it just does that from time to time, no idea why. I'm at 266,000 miles now so I"m not going to worry about it. It's done it since I can remember. Just seems like it's not oging to start and then you let it sit for a while and it does. I'd say it's the main relay but I still have the original one and if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Yea the same happens to my 92 sometimes... starts ups, then dies immediately afterwards... Only happens once in a while tho... Could it be the distributor? Not enough electricity?
More than likely it's the main relay. Pretty much all older Hondas go through this at some time or another. Mine did too, and after replacing the relay it hasn't done it since.

How much does it cost? Is it easy to replace?

A new relay from the dealer is $50, but it can be had at autozone or someplace like that for around $35 if I remember right. I'm not sure if the 92 is in the same spot as mine, but it isn't all that hard on mine. On the drivers side kickpanel, waaaay at the back. Just have to drop the fuse box and you can get at it
