Do stock rear springs kill your 60'???
93 Civic hatchback B16 with I/H and open header. 14" Azenis 20 psi. Stock rear springs and shocks.
60 ft was 2.333
Is my stock suspension killing me? Do I have to switch to a stiffer rear shock and spring combo to get in to the 2.1 range on street tires? I really enjoy my stock height. I got tired of riding low and stiff in my old cars.

lower the psi on the tires....i've noticed that on a soft sus. set-up the car tends to float on the top end of the track...but thats after 110mph...we tired stock springs and got the same exact 60ft. on a all motor car...
Dude I am ghetto fab. Really though I was enjoying being at stock height. Being low gets boring after a couple of years.
damn, I cut a 2.09 on 175/50/13's A008II's at 28 psi.

600+ passes at the track is a excellent teacher.
I'm using Eibach Prokit springs and stock 160k miles shocks.
1.81 is my best 60 foot on 20x8x14 MT slicks.

I am still trying to master my launch. I have not been draging this setup lately. I was just wondering if my stock springs were to soft to get a 2.1 60 ft with street tires. No slicks for me yet though. No $$$$ right now.

Just dropping the clutch too, No feathering? What size tires?
I will go back again just to try to hit a 2.1.
