clutch noise!!!
Can someone please help me??? I have a sqeaky clutch when i release it slowly after the car has been driven for about a half hour. I tried bleeding the clutch to see if there was air in the line, but that didn't work. I cleaned off and greased up the ball on the slave cylinder which seemed to work for the first couple days, but then the sound just came right back. If anyone can help me, i would seriously appreciate it. Thanks millions.
Sometimes it is the spring in the clutch pedal that is squeaking.
I had never experienced a squeaky clutch pedal until reading about it here. (Coincidence? I think not!
)
I never bothered to try to get rid of the squeak because it was not a big deal.
Then one day it went away and never came back.
That said, I bet it will squeak the next time I drive my car.

Same thing happens to me every once in a while. Its just a light squeak coming from the pedal itself moving. Doesn't bother me unless I'm already having a bad day. I may take it in if it doesn't go away before my warranty runs out.

Mine does the same thing occasionally, usually more so when its colder outside. Since warmer temps have come now, it seems to have decreased. The squeak happens when i depress or release the clutch.

I have heard of this problem on the UK forum a few times before - I tried looking for the threads but the search on their doesnt work as good as HTs you could try yourself:-

It probably happens here more cos of our lovely British Weather!
I think the prob is something to do with where the pedal connects to the master cylinder around the pedal box, is there a ball or something?? anyway i think they either replaced a part round there or greased it up.
Sorry for been so vague but it might be the right direction for you...........

The sound is definitely coming from the clutch itself. i had the hood up and had a friend depress the pedal. You could definitely hear it right down near the clutch/tranny. I think i might just drop the tranny and have a look inside, we'll see what is there that we can clean up. If nothing comes from it, then maybe i will just take it in. Thanks for all the input guys.

You may as well order a new clutch now, since you are obviously going to have to pull the tranny to inspect the current one (which is making noise so something is not right).
If you're on your stock clutch I would venture to guess that a spring fell out of the hub of the clutch disc.

damn it, this happens to me too..... but it's definitely inside the car.... almost a sqweeking sound when the clutch is pressed in or released..... annoys the hell out of me
Yep, I also have the same issue. I (think) I hear mine from inside and outside. I am not sure what it is but sometimes its louder and quiter... does not seem like the temperature affects it. ???
Nothing big... when my clutch doesnt work I will start worrying

It seems that they didnt know what the problem was (Or wanted to charge Acura to replace everyting under warranty) and decided to just get you all new parts. I am surprised they didnt replace the hydraulic lines and clutch since they were replacing everyting else.
Clutch MC
Slave cylinder
Clutch fork
Release bearing
Couple of questions though, What did they need the hondabond for? What were the other bearings charged to acura for? What oil seal did they change how does it relate to the fixing the problem?
