I want to get S2000 HID's installed in my SiR. My question is what parts do I need to order to do this? How much will it cost? Is it cheaper to go with something else, pls help I am an HID N00b.

Please search.

You need the ballasts and bulbs. You'll have to wire them up yourself and secure the ballasts in a nice dry area.

Thanks, I would rather not have to change my headlight housing. Are there any aftermarket kits you can get made specifically for a Civic?

There are hundreds of kits made for Civics.
For optimum performance, you would want to retofit sock projectors from a car with stock HID.

DO a search.

Quality aftermarket kits are worth the money as well.

http://www.visualdynamics.ca (He uses Catz kits).

http://www.autolamps-online.com (I got my kit here. They are a recommended Phillips distributor for retrofit HID kits).

There is another guy on here that sells Catz HID kits that seems pretty reputable (his name escapes me).

Oh and those Catz kits aren't the bull **** Zeta systems. These are real deal HID bulbs and ballasts.

What did you pay for your setup?

Oh yeah xenondepot.com as well. I wanted a 5000k kit but they tint their bulbs. There are people that have used their 5000k without the light output changing color but I didn't want to try it. My buddy has that kit in his integra and the look nice.
I have the Hylow system from Autolamps-online and love them to death...dunno I ever drove without them. I'm trying to convince my buddy to get a Catz kit so we all have different manufacturers.

S2000 projectors are sick! But if you can't find the projector itself, you have to buy the whole housing at the dealer. They won't sell just thr projectors.

I ordered Hella H7 projectors (ECE euro pattern) last week. It should be here in few days.
