Remove interior sunroof lid?
I am wondering if it is possible to remove the interior lid that closes beneath the sunroof. If so, how would I be able to do this? I don't use it much and I figure it would look nice to have a bit more viewing space for my sunroof. I have a 2001 Integra LS.

You don't use it much? You mean you leave it open and let it become even more of a greenhouse than it already is?
My car would get way hot inside if I left that interior lid open.

Like it was stated earlier. I believe you have to take off the headliner to remove it.
I don't care if you do this or not, but I just wanted to make you aware of the fact that the more sun that comes through the sun roof just raises your chances of fading your seats, but if you want to do it then go for it.

anything is possible, you can remove your driver side door and not wear a seltbelt if you wanted to...never thought of taking it off but ill look into it atfer i wake up...
Buddy, you have to remove the whole sunroof assembly, and then you have to take it apart.I have a complete int swapp for my GSR to change it from tan to black, and I found someone who had the lid with the whole sunroof,he wouldnt take it out and threw in the whole sunroof.I now have the whole sunroof sitting in my attick and I know it would bitch to take the lid out of it.

IMO pointless. Leave it, that thing is god on those hot days. You want to take it out so there is more glass....that just means more heat to get in. No thanks. But to each his own.
back from the dead, i was wondering this also. i am not looking to remove the panel completely, but change the panel colors. i had a cracked sunroof (with tan interior panel) and bought a used complete sunroof assembly (with a grey interior panel) and would like to swap the tan panel into the good sunroof assembly so that it matches the rest of my interior.
thanks
thanks
