aem by pass valve

Default aem by pass valve

is it true that the by pass valve only works on aem intakes and why ? would it work on non-aem intakes

No it can work with any intake as long as the diameter is correct. jus cut the intake the size of the valve and replace.

I would think it would work on other cold air systems as long as you get the right size diameter for the bypass valve.

i had one on mine but i didnt check it all the time and the other side of my intake fell off!

Here is a cool idea...take a piece of metal and drill a hole in it. It has to be thin and bendable. There is a hole right where the intake passes by. Put the metal peice up to that whole and screw it down...then slide the metal thru the bracket that holds the filter on and bend it back around the bracket so it's secure...keeps the intake on nice and tight.
