where to install gauges on EG???
yeah but custom 'under the audio console' is about as sleeper as you can get unless you put them in your already existing gauge cluster. I've also seen them right above the glove box angled towards the driver like a sideways gauge pod.
go with the optional audo console, and then build a face plate that can cover the gauges when you park, (or get pulled over. damn nosey cops)
i just used a din sized radio block off put a sticker on it and put 2 small thin magnets in the corners to hold on to the screws that hold the gauge panel in place and instant sleeper! very easy sleeper upgrade

I build a fiber glass custom triple pod that goes on the outside of the glove box. i dont got i pic i built it for my buddy it looks awesome its the same color as his car. i have also built differnt ones for ek and eg civics. But personally i will stick with my custom carbon fiber triple gauge pod.

I'd put the radio in the optional center console and three guages in a radio block-off plate.
It's not like a thief isn't going to see them no matter where you decide on, unless you put the gauges in the glovebox, but then they're pretty useless on the fly.

hmm,, maybe i'll just mount the gauges where the deck usually goes and put the deck in the glovebox or somewhere else, anyone done that?? that may be awkward though,,,
