Default Civic Si B16 into a CRX

Could a 99-00 Civic Si B16 fit into a Crx HF? I can get a cheap deal on a B16 from the Si complete (engine, trans, harness, sensors, etc.). Would it fit, or would I have to still get one from Japan?

i think the mounts are the same as the jdm B16 but it has a hydraulic tranny(youll need to custom some mounts and a way to press the clutch) also i think its obd 2 so you will have to convert your car to obd2. other than that it should be a little easier than the jdm b16 to get smogged and i think a cable transmission will still bolt up. correct me if im wrong

Easiest way to go would be using the Si longblock, b-series mount kit (hasport, HCP, place), a cable tranny (s1, j1, y1, etc), obd0 ecu(pwo, pr3), and wire everything to odb-0 (change injectors, distributor), integra axles. Wiring obd-0 to obd-II is a lot of work...better off going obd-I

Naw, I'm good Shaggy. These engines can get good HP ratings, so how hard would it be to change the clutch (Hydro to cable), change the ODB II (someone please explain the purpose of these, new to Honda), and cost of all this. Has anyone done this. Don't Honda's get imported to the US from Japan? So the 99-00 Si motor would be a J-Spec motor for the US. Thats one way to look at it.lol
