What caused the torque "hiccup" at 7200 on the 150 HP graph? That's outrageous.... Looks like a reading error to me.

Anyway, congrats. I guess you got one of the "built on Wednesday" engines. There's always one in every dozen engines or so.

Very nice power for a basically stock B16! You must have one of the freak motors.. my old 00 Si had a freak B16 too.

Thats insane, you don't drop off until 8300! Are you sure you don't have a VAFC or a FPR? Your Air/Fuel looks very flat. Nice graph, but unless you ran that with open header, or maybe played with your fuel settings, thats really hard to believe.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but if that graph is at the engine (not the wheels) I thought the b16's were supposed to be closer to 160 HP

well, for one, i dont think anybody would actually pay to have there tranny dropped to have the engine dynoed at the flywheel, and i havent ever heard of any flywheel dyno's except the manufacturer dyno

that should awnser your question think about it for a few minutes.

Nope, he doesn't have any of that i guarantee you that. All he had is listed above, and he also failed to tell you the stock header was dented at the bottom where it scraped a few times, and also that its running through his entirely stock exhaust system matt_sb2000 at sleeper motorsports dyno'ed it on H-T's Dyno day.

yeah, i'm waiting for IL4 to get the ES oval muffler in stock so i can pick it up. as soon as thats in, jdm header and cat go on. that should make things a lil more interesting. i'm thinking i should pick up some ngk plugs too. one of the best things about my car...is getting about 320 miles on about 10 gallons of gas. yeah, thats right...32 miles to the gallon

good numbers. On my B16 from a XSI into a 87 civic si. I got 151 whp with the following mods. fuel pressure at 40psi,cam gear at +2+2. timing at 15 degrees,ITR intake man. bored out Tbody,3" intake pipe with K+N cone. no header, stock 2 O2 sensor man. punched out cat and 2.25 " exhaust with super turbo muffler. I was using a Z dyne 1 wire. I had stock cams. this motor now is in a EF and running NOS all stock and that car is running 12 flat on a fiberglass front end with a fuel cell but no cutting on that car. still has floors and doors.
