Redlining: Don't try this at home!
Cause i've done this now for you
Just another random snapshot.

I just took this last night, i know it's not new and has been tried and done before - but i'm not sure if it's been taken to redline. I know it's stupid to rev like this IN NEUTRAL - but oh well, live life
You guys get copies of it anyway, so in the end it's probably all worth it.
Technical:
- I used the widest aperture possible at F2.8.
- Shutter speed was 3.2 seconds
- No tripod, just sat the camera on the dash, macro mode on, no flash (duh)
- Erased rest of the dash in photoshop.
- Very hard to keep the camera stable from the 8000rpm vibrations.
I like it cause you get this point of view only with a compact camera, bigger cameras are better - but won't fit this deep in the dash to get this type of angle.
I think i'll make it my new avatar!
At least until i do this again with the speedo going really high
which would probably be too dangerous to try.
I would LOVE to see a similar shot done on a Spoon Cluster. *request*

I'm still uploading the original size, but once it's finished the url will be http://home.iprimus.com.au/easton/redlin2BIG.jpg
It's 2272x1704... so be warned - it's huge!
I swear some of you guys need to have an online digi cam class. No way have I ever been able to get or would even know how to get a cool pic like that. All these camera settings and I have no idea how to use them. Awesome wallpaper.
