Sorry I accidently deleted my reply to "B16B2b" after he asked the question.

my reply was, the bumper support is still functional upon impact and it was intented for their "race version" EK9 (~were the "CTR Race Pulley can be found). which is basically a light weight/small version, that basically weigh's nothing.

and yes it is also easy to install, if you know how to take off your front bumper.
