Hi guys I have a slight problem. recently every couple of week/month my distributor fries. i take it to a Mechanic and he tells me that My distributor has been burnt . Well after getting that fixed within a while the same **** again I love my car and I would trade it for the world. any suggestion on a solution or a hint?? It STARTS LIKE THIS ....... after I start the car the car would start right up and then withing a second or two it would go dead. after like 15 false starts then it finally gives life It stops for a week or so then starts acting up again if not that the distributor fries. I don't know if this will help but I have no other real prob with my car. It's a 1994 Honda Integra SI. P.S. How do u post pics on here I got some but I don't know how to put them on

 

Check for shorts in all the electrical wiring. I had a similar experience where I was driving and my car motor suddenly died. I took it to a shop and they found there was no spark, so I replaced the distributor. It works again. Then the next day it dies again. I took it to another shop and they found there was some bad wiring of the alarm and some wires were burnt. So they replaced the main relay, but still couldn't get it to start. They knew that there was a short somewhere but couldn't find it.

I finally tow it to an Acura dealership and they replace some burnt wires and tape everything back up so nothing is touching. Everything's fine now.

What puzzles me is the first time I fixed it all I replaced was the dizzy, and it starts again. It obviously wasn't the dizzy, so now I'm going to put in my old one to see if it's dead.
